Liv reached out to me with the idea to do a tomboy / pride inspired shoot. She visualized wearing Calvin Kleins and wanted her boudoir shoot to reflect her style! What did you think boudoir was before hearing of Golden Mean Boudoir?
Before Golden Mean, I thought boudoir was exclusively lingerie, but Veronica helped me understand boudoir is what you make it!
What made you decide to take the leap of faith and book a boudoir session?
I wanted to do something empowering to show that boudoir is for everyone

I really wanted to make sure I still maintained my style/sense of self
Was the session what you expected it to be?
It was even better than I expected! Veronica is so sweet and really takes her time to help pose you and makes you feel super comfortable.
What would your advice be to others who have booked a boudoir session?
Make sure you stretch! That was one of the most important pieces of advice/if not THE most important. Holding poses can be a lot harder than it looks so make sure you stretch in the weeks leading up to your session to prepare. It's also such an amazing experience that makes you feel like you're owning your own sexuality/body. I think everyone should do a boudoir session at least once in their life.
Did anything change about the way you see your own beauty / sexuality / sensuality / body confidence as a result of this session?
It really changed the way I saw myself- when I first saw the photos I couldn't believe that was me. I truly have never loved my body more than after I saw the photos and I felt like I owned my sexuality more.
Why would you suggest someone else book a session with Golden Mean Boudoir?
1000%! Veronica is insanely talented and one of the kindest souls you will ever meet. From start to finish, the entire experience really makes you feel empowered and beautiful.
What would you say to people who say they can't do a boudoir session because they are too shy, nervous, etc?
Doing a boudoir session is such an empowering experience, but it can be intimidating to be in your underwear in front of a stranger. My advice would be to step outside your comfort zone and to trust your photographer. Veronica always makes sure to do what you're comfortable with and is the best hype woman!
Anything else you would like to share?
My boudoir experience was truly one of the best experiences I've ever had. I had the best time and it was so much fun! I would do this again in a heartbeat- thank you, Veronica for everything and for making me love my body!
