Couples Boudoir Session
WOW is all I have to say about this stunning couple! K reached out to book one of our limited edition sessions - the Golden Goddess. During our first consultation she told me all about her love for dancing, burlesque, and glamour. I was so excited to get started on planning her session! Then she tells me … Veronica, can my husband join me for the session? I say sure, if he’s not being photographed of course he can join for the hair and makeup portion of the day to cheer you on! Oh, he’ll be photographed too, she says, he’s a bit shy and will need lots of coaching. Well, I’m up for any challenge and coaching is my JAM! So we set their date and patiently waited for the big day.

Why did you book your boudoir session?
We are doing this as a tribute to our 40's. A reminder to be gentler, practice self-care and that despite our age - we still got it going on! ; )

What was your favorite part of your session with us?
We were a couples shoot and we loved our individual and couples shots. Great use of time to get started with my partner while I had my hair and make up done. Our favorite part was seeing the reveal (of our images) the same day!
Was the session what you expected it to be?
If not, how was it different?
The session was great! We felt very comfortable with the types of pictures and the way we were helped to pose. The space was great, the timing was great, make up artist was great. The breathing is a little hard at first but gets easier through the shoot.
Did anything change about the way you see yourself as a result of this session?
K: While I'm comfortable in my body, this shoot really helped me appreciate my body so much more and boosted my self-esteem. I was really feeling myself the rest of the night. As far as for A, this session really brought out more of his personality and it showed as the shoot went on.
What would your advice be to others who haven’t booked a boudoir session?
Book your session! Invest in feeling amazing and reminding yourself of that feeling when you need it. Veronica made me feel comfortable, worked with me to come up with a common vision that I ended up loving.
P.s. make sure you start some stretching exercises weeks in advance so that you're ready for your shoot.
